DATASORTIQ DATA LIBRARIAN

One Core. Different organisation needs.

A private digital librarian for the files you already have — being developed to understand what files are, how they relate and what belongs together before proposing safe organisation.

Core status: In development. No public release, download, pricing or licence terms have been announced.

What the Core is being built to do

  • Analyse supported file content, metadata and file-family evidence.
  • Prepare proposed categories, names and destinations for review.
  • Identify exact duplicates and preserve non-identical versions.
  • Recognise supported packages and projects and protect their structure.
  • Use copy-only handling, source-integrity controls and SHA-256 verification.
  • Keep uncertain or unsupported decisions under user control.

Format coverage varies. Unsupported or unreadable files must not be treated as fully understood.

Organisation profiles

Personal

For household records, photographs, receipts, downloads and personal projects.

Corporate

For business records, customer and job folders, technical files and project collections.

Custom

For organisation policies adapted to a particular collection or workflow.

These are organisation profiles within the Core development workflow, not separate applications or confirmed paid editions.

Understanding collections

The intended direction is to understand individual files alongside semantic collections, structural packages and dependency groups. A training course should remain a meaningful collection; a website or software project should retain the files it depends on.

Currently being tested: collection, dependency and local semantic intelligence is evaluated in read-only shadow reports. This experimental context does not currently change classification, Review decisions or destinations. Context-based planning is not enabled.

How version numbers will work

The current development generation is 6.08663 Context & Collection Intelligence. A future customer-facing format, 2026.08663, is proposed: 2026 identifies the product year or generation, and 08663 identifies the development/build sequence.

This format has not yet become the active development version. A checkpoint number is not a public release announcement.

What comes later

Specialist Studio products, DataSort File Xplorer, Knowledge Index and Smart Inbox / Drop Folder are planned. Their release scope and availability will be confirmed separately.

Possible future Personal, Pro and Business customer editions remain under consideration. Features, licence rights, prices and release dates have not been decided.
